The Task
Power Testing Ltd successfully won the contract to complete the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of HV electrical works and associated civil works at Flag Fen WRC.
Works involved carry out a detailed civil, earthing and electrical designs to enable the installation of 2No new Package Substations.
Civil works were completed, creating 2No transformer compound bases which were to be installed 1M above ground due to risk of flooding.
Power Testing also completed the electrical design to correctly size the new switchgear required to suit the client’s new site electrical demands.
Power Testing successfully install and commissioned 2No new 11kV Package Substation, 2No HV Circuit Breakers and new substation earthing
