The Task
PTL were asked to provide sufficient resources and equipment to complete the supply and install of a temporary electrical solution to provide mains power to the sites existing MCC allowing removal of sites temporary generation. The temporary solution was required due to a large fire on site causing extensive damage
Works involved PTL performing several aspects of the design elements including, electrical, earthing and civil.
PTL excavated and backfilled all required HV and LV trenching and provided access to temporary TX location and existing LV Switch Room.
Both LV & HV cabling was installed followed by all relevant testing and commissioning, with all works being performed successfully as proven by the successful testing and reenergization.
Given time restraints safety and strategic planning was paramount, PTL ensured that works were completed as quickly as possible but to our same high standards.
