We are pleased to announce our participation in the upcoming World Cup On Sea Charity Football Tournament taking place on Saturday 20th May 2023.

Following the teams brilliant 3rd place performance at the 2022 World Cup On Sea, the “Power Rangers” will be making another appearance and looking to come home with the winners trophy!

32 local teams will be taking part, and all contributions will be going to HARP, we hope to see you there supporting the “Power Rangers”!

 

 

HARP: Helping over 1,000 people every year who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness in Southend-on-Sea. HARP provides short and long-term accommodation, access to confidence boosting training and activities, and crucial support to help local people overcome homelessness for good.  Further information can be found on harpsouthend.org.uk .

Following Ellie’s move to Operations, Projects very own Will has been promoted to our Projects Estimator.

Will has a detailed knowledge of the department and continues to develop and grow everyday – and this new role, supported technically by Andy Baker, will further enhance his knowledge and understanding of projects.

Although Ellie will be sorely missed, I am sure you will all agree, this is a great opportunity for Will and we know he will smash it.

As of Monday 14th November, Ellie moved home – back to Operations to assist with driving down the order book and assisting Steve White in overseeing efficiencies, which will also free Steve White up to supervise and support all the Client Teams.

Although Ellie has become very valuable to Projects with her positive and supportive personality, Operations is where she excelled and her assistance will further strengthen the department.

Ellie began her phased handover process from Projects to Operations 2 weeks ago, with full migration planned for early January 2023.

Welcome home Ellie.

Following a 90% pass on his recent Trade Test and completion of his AP1 Assessment, we are delighted to announce that Harvey has been promoted to Senior Technician for Team 1.

Steve joined Power Testing Limited in 2008 as a Cable Jointer, working on long term contracts for SSE. After 5 years as a Cable Jointer, Steve became highly skilled and Operationally aware.

Steve has since moved from Contract Management to Operational Management and finally adding another string to his bow joining the Business Development team, looking to build on his excellent client relationships and gain Power Testing visibility as a business.
